Improving sewage systems to mitigate public health risks

People in rural areas are less likely to benefit from improved sanitation facilities (56% only have access to sanitation facilities vs 79% in urban areas). Disrupted water and sanitation infrastructure in the country increase the risk of water-related diseases including cholera and dengue.
